Special Services

 

 The mission of the Crawford County R-1 Special Services Department is to empower students to reach their full potential and prepare them to successfully participate in their communities.

PRESCHOOL AND KINDERGARTEN SCREENING will be in March 17-19, 2026. Appointments will start being scheduled in February 2026
Boys and girls who will be 3 or 4 before Aug. 1, 2026 can screen for preschool. Children that will turn 5 before Aug. 1, 2026 are eligible to attend kindergarten.

Please bring your child's legal birth certificate, immunization records and proof of residency. In order to be considered for preschool, the child must be screened, even if they are attending preschool at this time.

Make sure you have your child's most recent immunization record on file with the school nurse.
